
CR250 conversion kit
This is a bolt on kit to convert your FL250 to CR250 power. A stock FL250 cylinder makes around 15-17 horsepower and a Cr250 cylinder makes just shy of 26! this is a pretty big jump in power for a very easy modification. The kit comes with a cylinder, piston, head, intake manifold, carb, and all necessary gaskets included. You will need a complete fl250 engine for this kit or at least a bottom end, ignition, exhaust manifold and exhaust. This kit will require tuning of the driven and optionally the rear clutch. You will need a Comet 102c clutch, Comet 94c "duster" clutch, or a power block clutch because these clutches are tuneable. The Salsbury clutch is not tuneable so will not work very well with this kit. We use brand new parts where available but items such as the block and head are often only available used. There are also many performance upgrades available. They are listed below by section.
